The year 1948 produced many beautiful radios after World War II, none better than this Gilfillan tabletop set, which is an icon of the Art Deco period with its Bullet shape and streamlined design and half moon dial. Gilfillan Bros. Radio of Los Angeles, CA was a small company but very collectable This is a model #58 in an ivory plaskon cabinet. The radio has been electronically and cosmetically restored, the knobs are ivory plaskon winged style, original back panel and the dial lights up as it should and it plays very well.
